Together for nature: the diverse activities of the Weinviertler hunter round

Bullendorf/Weinviertel: The Weinviertler hunter round consists of a committed group of hunters who are committed to the craft of hunting. The association is not restricted by geographical borders; Members come from the entire Weinviertel, Vienna and even from Carinthia.

What distinguishes this community is a deep connection to nature and a strong cohesion. The members of the Weinviertler hunter round not only maintain the hunting tradition, but also support social projects for hunters and their families who are in need. Under the motto "We hunters give bees home", they also get involved in the preservation and care of habitats for wildlife and insects.

diverse activities and traditions

The Weinviertler hunter round organizes a variety of events throughout the year that promote both rural tradition and hunting customs. Among other things, take part in the event "Wein-Wild-Weinviertel" in the Wilfersdorf Liechtensteinschloss, where you not only offer drinks, but also offer children's programs, such as handicrafts from nesthouses.

The other activities include the implementation of Jagaric flea markets and hunter heurers. Traditional events such as the Advent magic in Bullendorf, where goulash cannons and wild sausages are offered, are very popular. A special highlight is the "waiting for the Christ child", in which wild animals are fed on Christmas Eve and the children can hike with llamas, ponies or donkeys.

Another window to the community offer the tinkering with children events in which ideas such as nesting boxes and feeding points are implemented. The Hubertuskapelle of the Kohzina family in Bullendorf, which the hunting round regularly uses for various devotions and festivals, also applies special attention.

donation campaigns and support

The association has also committed itself to supporting the needy of those and institutions. A few months ago, a donation of 2,000 euros could be handed over to the family of a little boy to help their therapy costs. The Kolping family Poysdorf were also handed over to healthy drinks at Easter.

This social responsibility is not only evident through financial donations, but also by the use of the association in the community, which makes it a fixed size in the local environment. Networking with various institutions and authorities to promote hunting culture and rural traditions is another goal of the hunter round.

If you want to learn more about the upcoming events, you should note the JägerDvent in Kellergasse on November 30, 2024 and the waiting for the Christkind on December 24, 2024. Details of all these events and more are regularly published on the website of the hunting district of Mistelbach .
