Rotary Club Melk strengthens culture: New book sponsorships for the library

d as Stift Melk recently organized a special event in which 43 new book sponsorships were officially recognized as part of the "Ex Litteris Immortalitas" support association. These sponsorships are important to ensure the preservation of the valuable abbey library. The book sponsors were invited to a solemn reception, in which they had the opportunity to exchange ideas with each other and reaffirm their commitments.

Alexander Hauer, board member of the association, opened the event and warmly welcomed everyone present. He emphasized the importance of such sponsorships: "Intellectual, spiritual, personally. Many were given a formative here - and now we want to give something back to the house." This statement underlines the request of the book sponsors to take responsibility for the cultural heritage of the pen.

As part of the reception, a sponsorship for the work "Émile ou de l’éducation" was taken over by the Rotary Club Melk in four volumes of Jean-Jacques Rousseau.
