Care Center Yspertal: Extension with new beds successfully completed
The nursing center in Yspertal recently expanded its capacity by 16 beds in order to cover the high need for nursing places in the region. The construction work that started about six months ago was approved by the state of Lower Austria and went quickly without major problems. The roof of the new building was completed in May and the new building was completed in August. Since September 1, the care center has already occupied 13 of the new places, which underlines the urgent need for other care facilities.
Adelheid Beyerl, the head of the nursing center, explained the motives for the extension. It is often the case that facilities for more residents need the same infrastructure as for less. "For 86 residents, I need the same equipment as for 70, for example in the kitchen," said Beyerl. These quota beds are managed by the state of Lower Austria and billed by the Melk district administration.
Demand for care places
An unpredictable factor that contributes to the increased demand was the flood, which caused some residents to have no return to their original home and now found a new place to stay in the care center. Beyerl emphasizes that the entire situation went smoothly during the occupancy process, especially through the close cooperation with the Melk.
The construction work itself was carried out by the Krems architecture firm Tauber and the Sandler Bau company, which took into account both the needs of the residents and the neighbors. "Communication was the key to a successful construction process," added Beyerl. The residents persecuted with great interest, such as the new building was built and had many questions about completion. This shows how well the integration of the residents into the process was from the start.
The Yspertal nursing center currently employs 70 people who ensure that the high standards in care are maintained. Beyerl emphasizes the importance of the staff who takes on daily responsibility to enable residents to live a self -determined life. "We are dependent on our employees not burning down while they take care of the well -being of our residents," she explained.
This expansion of the care center is not only a sign of growth in the facility, but also for the answer to an pressing need in the region. At a time when society is getting older, such developments are important to ensure that all people in need of care receive the necessary support.
