Kiss Me, Kate: Premiere in the Baden City Theater - an evening full of passion!
in Baden the anticipation for the premiere of the musical "Kiss Me, Kate", which is due this Saturday. Tini Kainrath, who plays one of the leading roles, promises a rousing experience. "It gets very lively, the music is awesome anyway. And it is incredibly much in a mood!", She explains enthusiastically. The staging of Ramesh Nair, who is responsible for the direction and choreography, pursues a traditional approach, which will certainly benefit the entertainment.
"Kiss Me, Kate" is not only a musical, but also a very everyday story of love and conflict. "You love each other, you hate each other and you love each other again - that's very banal," says Kainrath. The action is based on the real dynamics behind the scenes of Broadway productions. This authenticity, which can also be felt in the dialogues, makes history particularly annoying.
The role of Hattie
tini Kainrath plays the wardrobe Hattie, who, as she says, can be briefly described: "A little magician - she is not in the foreground, but always on hand when it gets going." Despite the lack of formal training, she has already stood on diverse stages and proved that you can achieve a lot with talent. "But you can always cheat through talent - what I prove!", She adds with a laugh.
Kainrath can look back on an impressive career that she already led on large stages in cities such as Melk, Graz and on TV. The question of whether she would prefer to sing or actors answer with a clear preference for singing: "When I heard the" Carmina Burana "in the Vienna Music Association, I knew: It had to be singing!"
The theater world in view
When asked what roles she would still like to play, Kainrath replies that she has already played Hekate in "Macbeth", and also has no problems with the witches. She particularly raves about the role of Tony in "West Side Story", which she describes as the most beautiful role and the best musical. "That's just mad," she smiles.
future projects already have their planning. "I have something in Vienna and something in Germany in prospect, but I am not yet allowed to reveal that!" She reveals mysteriously. She also works with Peter Havlicek on a second CD that the fans can wait.
"Kiss Me, Kate" will be performed in the Baden City Theater from October 19. The main actors include Patricia Nessy and Darius Merstein-Macleod. Further information can be found on the website of the theater www.buehnebaden.at to be found.
