Advent markets in the Lilienfeld district: Festive anticipation and regional delicacies

The pre -Christmas period is always something very special, and in the Lilienfeld district, the celebrations are heralded with a number of festive Advent markets. Advent markets at a glance

we start with the Advent market in Türnitz, which takes place on November 23 and 24 at the foot of the EiL. Here visitors can enjoy the winter mood at the local post office and parking lot.

Here, in the Lilienfeld Abbey, visitors can discover handicrafts, regional gastronomy and Christkindlmarkt offers in the prelate courtyard. There will also be concerts and a handicraft market in the cellarium.

The Advent at the Kircherl in Traisen starts on Saturday, November 30th, at 2:00 p.m. and on December 1st at 9:00 a.m. The focus here is on handicrafts and regional products that perfectly round off the pre -Christmas experience.

For the lovers of Advent concerts, the St. Aegyder Christkindlmarkt will be a real highlight on December 2 and 3. The market begins on Saturday at 3:00 p.m., while on Sunday from 9:00 a.m. a musical performance by an ensemble of the Viennese Philharmonic will take place in the parish church.

In Hainfeld, the tradition at "Advent im Gut Landsthal" will continue on November 30 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Here, too, visitors can look forward to homely stands and regional delicacies.

And last but not least, the Hohenberger Advent market on December 9th and 10th, 2024 is further opportunity to enjoy the pre -Christmas mood and acquire regional products.
