Rohrendorf: Successful redesign of the passage through L 45 completed

In Rohrendorf, the renovation work on the passage through the area of the L 45 and the intersection to the L 7012 was successfully completed. The last section of the work, which ranges from a kilometer of 2.945 to 3.400, has now been completed. The crossing area to the L 7012 was also completely renewed over a length of about 50 meters. In order to ensure the stability of the streets, all asphalt layers were milled on an area of around 1,500 m2, the substructure was renovated and new supporting and cover layers were applied. Furthermore, there were extensive work on the adjacent plants, with new edges, among other things, and the drainage systems were improved.

The construction site was realized by the Gnant GmbH and Porr Bau GmbH. The total costs for the renovation amounted to around 300,000 euros, whereby 170,000 euros were borne by the state of Lower Austria and 130,000 euros by the municipality of Rohrendorf. This comprehensive project, which was already initiated in 2018, not only aims to improve the traffic conditions, but also increase the security standards, especially near the church, elementary school and the kindergarten.
