Organic training for green space care starts in 2025 in Lower Austria
The "Nature in the Garden" initiative has launched an exciting course that is aimed at everyone who wants to look after public green spaces. Under the title "ecological green space care", the participants learn how to use nature without using chemical-synthetic means. This practical course offers a great opportunity for people without special training in this area to acquire well -founded knowledge.
The course has now proven itself, and in 2024 21 participants, including a graduate from the Krems district, have successfully completed. Important topics are dealt with here that are essential for the care of green areas. This includes ecological foundations, the correct treatment of the soil, the protection of plants and effective methods for the care of trees, shrubs, lawn and meadows. This is particularly important for community employees, seasonal workers and of course for everyone who is interested in the greening and care of parks and gardens.
Important information about the next course
The further training is organized by the state of Lower Austria and "Nature in the Garden" and ends with an exam. If you are interested, you should hurry up, because the next course begins in March 2025.
A particularly remarkable aspect of the initiative is that 494 out of 573 municipalities in Lower Austria are now applying these environmentally friendly care methods. Not only the green spaces themselves benefit from this, but also the quality of life in the respective communities.
In today's world, it is crucial that such programs for ecological care are also used in everyday life. They not only promote the variety of plant and animal species, but also create living and healthy habitats for people.
