In Tresdorf, the Korneuburg Grand Prix 2024 warehouse took place this year, a cross-country race that was held for the second time on the new company premises. At this event, the spectators were able to watch exciting competitions on a varied route, which included asphalt, meadow and gravel passages as well as various technical sections. The cyclocross mode caused a special dynamic that liked both the participants and the spectators.

The men started in an exciting final over a distance of 10 kilometers. Christoph Soukup, a well-known mountain bike star and Olympic participant, offered outstanding performance from the start. He had an excellent start and fought with Andreas Dollinger for the lead. Dollinger, who showed aggressive driving style, could not outdo Soukup. Ultimately, the fall of Dollinger was a turning point in front of the finish, which Soukup paved the way to victory. Soukup expressed his joy after the race: "My first cross-country victory means a lot" and emphasized the interesting route.

exciting competitions and surprising twists

In the previous year, Fabian Lung was the winner, but this year he was unlucky and fell in the second lead, making a good starting place in the final. Nevertheless, he showed a strong race and finally reached second place after a gripping sprint against Liam Niederwanger. Sebastian Strasser secured fourth place, while Dollinger and Jürgen Pechhacker took the last places in the top five.

The women's races were just as exciting. Julia Springl took the lead right from the start, but the multi-award-winning Silke Mair and Romana Slavinec fought a gripping head-to-head race. With her experience and routine, Mair was able to win the sprint for himself and secure the first place. Birgit Braumann ended up in third place and overtook Springl shortly before the finish

Another highlight was that everyone, at which Johannes Hager, the workshop manager of the Korneuburg warehouse, again delivered a strong performance. However, the talented U17 driver Niklas Wiesmayr was able to claim victory in the sprint, which demonstrated his skills. Wiesmayr also became the first in the youth classification, while Hager won the title in the general class.
