On the night of August 7th, a 14-year-old student was brutally raped on her way home at the train station. The perpetrator, a 21-year-old asylum seeker from Somalia, has now been sentenced to six years in prison by the Korneuburg regional court. The defendant had excused the crime in court with alcoholism, which the judge rated as an attempt to trivialize the serious crimes.
