In a sensational case in the Gänserndorf district, a woman is on trial that is accused of having caused serious physical damage to her partner in two different incidents. In July 2022 she is said to have given the 41-year-old a drink with methanol and psilocybin mushrooms, also known as Magic Mushrooms.

The indictment also includes another attempted murder, which is to take place in autumn of the same year. The accused had to be hospitalized as a result of a knife injury. She herself claimed that these injuries were the result of the man's attempt to suicide.
