Snack Express at the train station: Local local supplier with new identity

In the Hollabrunn station building there is news: Edin Bekiroski renamed his local supplier a few days ago and is now shining under the new name "Snack Express". The entrepreneur has headed this company for about four months after he originally moved his EDP workshop to a new location directly at the train station. "The takeover of the local supplier was a condition of the ÖBB so that I can operate my workshop here," explained Bekiroski.

The sign with the new name was only attached recently, and more attentive commuters may have noticed the new design. Before this change, the local supplier bore the name "Amli", which is now history. Bekiroski plans to offer a comprehensive offer that goes beyond snacks and also includes services such as package acceptance.

New name with a fresh concept

The operator not only wants to increase comfort for travelers and residents with "Snack Express", but also offer a diverse range. "We would like to better use the needs of customers and offer a contact point for everything you need for on the go," says Bekiroski. In addition to the IT workshop, where digital services are offered, the focus should be on a wide range of food and snacks.

The fact that the ÖBB granted him this option shows the flexibility of the railway administration in adapting to current requirements of the population. During the renovation, care was taken to ensure that both the character and the functionality of the location remain online. "It is important that we offer a place where commuters can buy something quickly and easily," added Bekiroski.

"Snack Express" not only serves as a local supplier, but also as a central point at which customers can make everyday errands while waiting for their trains. This approach could continue to bring further services and offers in the future.
