HAK Hollabrunn can be happy: Your student Magdalena Autrieth has won first place in the renowned “School Award” in the wage bill category. The award ceremony took place in Steyr, where Magdalena was accompanied by her teacher Margit Dungl to accept her deserved price.

The "School Award" is awarded annually by the software manufacturer BMD in cooperation with the Trauner Verlag. He recognizes students who show extraordinary achievements in the area of computer -supported accounting. This year, around 12,000 students from Austrian vocational schools and vocational schools took part in the competition. In addition to Magdalena’s victory in the wage accounting, Anika Grundhammer from the Waldegg State Office School was able to win in the financial accounting category, while her classmate Vanessa Ondrovics was successful in the Empty Management sector.

intensive preparation

As part of their training at the HAK Hollabrunn, the students learn how to deal with the BMD wage transfer program. Magdalena and her classmates had several intensive practice hours to optimally prepare for external certification by BMD. Many students were motivated to test their knowledge and show what they can.

Magdalena’s commitment paid off. In addition to the victory, she was able to gain an exciting insight into the everyday work at BMD and even visited the BMD Academy. The award ceremony was accompanied by Markus Knasmüller, the managing director of BMD, and Sonja Trauner, the managing director of the Trauner Verlag. In addition, the winner received a brand new notebook as a reward for her services.
