Fire brigade in Deinzendorf: Awards and storm analyzes
On October 10th, a remarkable district fire brigade day took place in Deinzendorf, which was visited by numerous fire brigade officials, honorary levels and trainers. At the beginning of the event, district fire brigade commander Alois Zaussinger gave an overview of current topics and developments within the fire brigade. This also included a formal part in which excellent performance was recognized.
The honors were all about the tireless commitment of the firefighters who emerged in training. The awarding of the sign in gold in gold to Jan-Manuel Grillmeier, Ilse Hacker-Graf and Andreas Elmer was particularly outstanding. There were also awards in different stages, including the instructor earnings in bronze for Martin Baumgartner, Werner Ganzberger and Stefan Schneider as well as in silver for several other committed members.

A central topic during this special meeting was to deal with the storm events that had affected the region in the weeks before. Stefan Vietze provided an overall overview of the situation in Lower Austria, while Markus Numberbrecht illuminated the specific challenges in the Hollabrunn district. Both speakers emphasized the importance of fire work in crisis situations and the need to teach from such events.
The presence of Member of the Landtag Richard Hogl and district captain Karl-Josef Weiss gave the event additional weight because they thanked the firefighters for their tireless efforts in these difficult times. This appreciation is not only an recognition for the current performance, but also an incentive for the fire brigade members to continue working.
Here are some of the awards awarded: The award of the ÖBFV in the 3. stage went to Martin Schmid. The signs of instructor in bronze were awarded to Martin Baumgartner, Werner Ganzberger and Stefan Schneider, while the awards in silver to Harald Köpf, Günther Westermayer, Günter Graf, Wolfgang Heindl, Martin Wortha, Richard Gall and Josef Baumeister went. Kurt Knoth was granted the honor for leaving out of the evaluator.
These honors not only work as a kind of award for individual performance, but also strengthen cohesion and motivation within the fire brigade community.
