Pure adrenaline: Weinland trophy inspires with gripping autocross races

This weekend Hollabrunn will be the center of Autocross sports, because the eagerly awaited Weinland trophy is just around the corner! The WRT ring is fully used on both race days to offer the spectators exciting competitions. This event not only attracts local athletes and fans, but also almost 100 participants from different nations who will compete in 13 classes.

The races are rated for the participants of the Austrian Autocross and Quad State Championship as well as for the Czech Mascom Cup (Kartcross). An exciting weekend full of action awaits the spectators who will experience exciting overtaking maneuvers and gripping duels.

The participation of the local heroes, who look forward to starting in front of a home crowd, is particularly exciting. The chairman of the organizer WRT Hollabrunn, Daniel Fischer, emphasizes that ten drivers from the region will start in various classes. Among them is the young Jakob Wagner, who drives 250 cc in the Racer Buggies class.

with Sascha Troll, Christopher Matuschek and Daniel Schienegger are represented by three drivers in the TW-20000cc class. Lukas Troll and Jürgen Bernold are fighting for victory in the TW-5000 CCM class, while Michael Turtzer will compete in the TW Allrad category. Markus Hengelmüller celebrates his comeback in the up-and-coming Kartcross class, and Thomas Markus has ambitious to defend his runner-up title in the Buggy all-wheel drive up to 5000 cc class.

"All drivers are highly motivated to collect important points for the state championship," explains Fischer enthusiastically. "It will be a weekend full of action, excitement and unforgettable moments!"

The Weinland trophy begins at 8 a.m. on both days. The admission prices are extremely fair at € 15 per day or a weekend ticket for € 25. Admission is even free of charge for children up to 12 years.
