Großschönau in festive fever: W4Brass brings stirring music groups!

e In an exciting event and brings music lovers to the picturesque Großschönau! The W4Brass weekend will take place there for the first time from October 11th to 13th. This festival offers visitors a varied program with first-class brass bands and an exciting frame offer. In addition, the readers of the NÖN have the opportunity to win tickets for the event.

The weekend starts on Friday at 8 p.m. when the popular group "Federspiel" occurs. This band is known for its creative compositions that embody the typical spring game sound, and will also perform some of its biggest hits from the past. So an extraordinary musical enjoyment is imminent!

The musical program

On Saturday it will continue at 5 p.m. with a hands-on wind music that enables the audience to actively participate in the event! At 7 p.m. the “imperial musicians” will appear, which lovers of traditional brass music will inspire. The crowning glory of the evening is a performance of the band "Keller Steff & Big Band" at 9:30 p.m. This group, consisting of eight talented musicians from Germany, brings a lively mixture of rocking sounds, soul and rhythm & blues, which captivates with rousing saxophone and trumpet sound.

Sunday begins with a convivial morning pint and music from 10.30 a.m., followed by a concert at 1 p.m. by Franz Posch & his Innbrüggler. Josef Gratzl, the chairman of great Großschönau, expressed his joy about the variety of musical talents that could be won for this event. "There has been no such abundance of top brass musicians in the Waldviertel. It is a challenge to bring such musicians to an appointment, especially if they already fill large stages or have their own radio programs.

A special highlight is the raffle for tickets for the concert of "Feder Game" on October 11, with two tickets each available for participants from the Gmünd and Zwettl districts.
