Faschingswunder in Laa: Two princesses conquer the stage!
In a remarkable step, the Laa carnival fans celebrated a historical event: for the first time in Lower Austria, two princesses appear as a carnival couple. "In Lower Austria and probably even throughout Austria, it is the first time that there are two princesses as a carnival couple," said Federal Elfiner and Honorary President Gerti Frühwirth. Jasmin Neubauer and Marion Rogler, the two princesses, are not only long -time members of the carnival guild, but also good friends. "Originally it was just a funny idea," the two revealed. The general assembly of the association unanimously agreed to its proposal, whereupon guild president Karl Lippert proudly said: "The two do it great!"
princesses with responsibility
The two women who are now marching in their festive blue clothes at the top of the carnival parade are not only responsible for the performance. Jasmin is the head of the girl's guard while Marion is her deputy. "We also want to appear individually," said Jasmin. "I work as a nurse, Marion is a student. If one of us has no time, the other will take part in the events and represent Laa worthy." However, the male members of the association made their reason for the absence of a prince couple: "I just prefer foam rolls than prince roles," said Karl Schufler from the men's ballet.
The two princesses are not afraid to go to the width and to perform together again next year should not find prince. "We really enjoy it, and our princess dresses will certainly fit us next year," they announced.
