Honorary handover in the Lower Austrian country house: Governor Mikl-Leitner honors deserved personalities

In the Lower Austria country house there was a ceremonial handicapped over the way. Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner awarded a total of 39 honor. Among them were 31 honorary merits of the state of Lower Austria, a memorial medal in the state of Lower Austria, five professional titles and two honor for services to the Republic of Austria.

In her speech, Mikl-Leitner emphasized that it was a good and beautiful tradition in Lower Austria to honor special achievements. She also referred to the recent flood disaster that the country has hit hard. In doing so, she praised the cohesion and solidarity of the people in this difficult time.

The governor particularly emphasized Elie Rosen, President of the Israelite Culture Community of Salzburg, Styria and Carinthia. Other honors such as Herbert Grüner, Rector of New Design University, actor Marcus Strahl and Reinhard Schuller, operations manager of the company fire brigade Industriepark Schwechat and section fire brigade commander Gänserndorf, were also awarded.

The honored were grateful and regarded the award as recognition for their achievements and motivation for the future.

The conception of honor is a sign of appreciation and recognition for outstanding achievements and merits in Lower Austria.
