Festive anticipation: Bruckmühl invites you to the four -day Christmas market
In Bruckmühl, the Christmas market will invite you from Thursday, November 28th to Sunday, December 1, 2024. After the market had to be canceled prematurely in the previous year due to strong snowfall, the organizers are happy to welcome visitors this year.
Organized by Silvia Mischi and Martina Neuhausen, the market will take place on Rathausplatz and turns into a winter paradise with atmospheric lighting. Here visitors can discover a combination of culinary delights, handicrafts and festive offers.
offers and attractions
The offer is diverse and ranges from handmade work to delicious dishes. New this year are ceramics, dog accessories and knitted wool items for children. Christmas arrangements and advent wreaths should not be missing. The gastronomic diversity ranges from traditional grill sausages and cheese spaetzle to Feuerzangenbowle, which are served for the first time by the local fire brigade.
A highlight will be the fire show of the Inntal Pass Perchten, which celebrates its 20th anniversary. This performance on the opening day at 7.30 p.m. promises a spectacular staging of customs and is not only enriched by the theatrical performance, but also by losing weight at the end of the performance. The children are shown that the perches are not creepy, but friendly people.
In addition, a line dance appearance of the group “Heels & Toes” will provide entertainment on Saturday evening. On Thursday, November 28th, several musical performances are also planned, including appearances from the Bruckmühl brass band.
event times and safety precautions
The Christmas market is open from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the first three days, while on Sunday it opens its gates from 12 p.m. A security team will be present throughout the event to ensure the safety of the guests. Parking is available free of charge on the Volksfestplatz.
With this return of the Christmas market after a dry winter break, the organizers hope for numerous visitors who want to enjoy the festive atmosphere and the diversity offered. Further details on program items and attractions can be found in the planning of the city marketing.
