Wieselburg's convincing 3-0 victory: Dominance found in Amstetten

In an impressive appearance, SC Wieselburg consolidated its priority in the 2nd Landesliga West by winning 3-0 against the Sku Amstetten Amateurs on Saturday in the 11th round. The guests traveled as leaders and already showed in the first half that they radiate a clear dominance in this role.

The start of the game was promising for the Wieselburg. After a first corner kick in the third minute, which still remained without consequences, Formose Mendy started the surprise campaign in the 29th minute and took the lead for his team with an arc lamp from 35 meters. This early tour gave SC Wieselburg additional momentum, while the Amstetten Amateurs had difficulty concentrating on the game.

The Wieselburger, however, remained the more effective team, and in the 75th minute a precise pass from Jürgen Pilz provided the third goal. Andreas Lahmer completed this show worth showing the leather without any problems. With this three-goal lead, the victory of the guests was finally sealed, even if they allowed Amstetten amateurs to get more possession in the remaining season.

The SC Wieselburg was able to concentrate on keeping control of the game and in the last minutes of the game there was no further chances for the Amstetten amateurs. Despite the lively degrees of the home team, the Wieselburg stood and ultimately secured the well-deserved 3-0 victory to further underpin their top position in the league.
