With enthusiasm by the Wachau: bike hiking day of the social service

D er Social Service Mostviertel recently organized a remarkable two -day bike hiking day through the picturesque Wachau. In wonderful autumn weather, nine clients had the opportunity to do a bike tour from Melk to Mautern with their supervisors. This event was a climax in a previous program in which small bike tours around Amstetten were carried out every two weeks. The aim was to promote the fitness of the participants and prepare them for the more demanding trip on the Danube Cycle Path.

Martin Zehetgruber, head of the Stadtoase house, emphasized the positive development that the clients went through during these activities. "We are proud of the achievements of our clients. It is a wonderful experience to see how they improve in their fitness and have great fun," Zehetgruber noted. The participants received support from Elisabeth Karl and Susanne Gruber-Zarl, who were also active as supervisors.

preparation and planning

Preparation for the cycle day was intense. The daily bike tours were carefully planned to improve the group's fitness state. This gave every participant the opportunity to increase their strength and perseverance in a targeted manner. The supervisors not only paid attention to physical skills, but also to social interaction and team feeling within the group. So they were able to ensure that each client received both physical and emotional support.

This type of events is particularly important. The Social Service Mostviertel is committed to offering clients not only in the care of everyday tasks, but also offering activities outside the usual environment. Cycling in nature not only promotes health, but also the sense of community and the independence of the participants. This is particularly valuable for people with special needs that often have to be promoted in a targeted manner.

an unforgettable experience

For many of the participants, the journey through the Wachau was an unforgettable experience. The beautiful landscape, with its vineyards and the picturesque Danube, created an inspiring backdrop for the cycling day. This not only brought joy, but also helped to achieve personal goals and to strengthen self -confidence.

The clients' feedback was consistently positive. Many reported that the events motivated them to continue to be active. "We want our clients to use the advantages of cycling not only during these special events, but also in everyday life," said Karl.

In the future, the Mostviertel Social Service plans to offer similar events regularly. This initiative is well received by the community and shows how important it is to promote leisure activities. Such programs can play an important role in improving the everyday life of the clients and helping them to lead an active and self -determined life.
