Children's friends Pöchlarn collect 1,462 euros for AMSTetten crisis center!

In a remarkable campaign, the Kinderfreunde Pöchlarn collected impressive 1,462 euros for the Kidsnest crisis center in Amstetten as part of their project "Christmas Wonder of the Kinderfreunde Pöchlarn". This initiative, which came about through generous donations from local companies and the income from the Christmas markets in Pöchlarn and Melk, shows the strength of the community in the region. The crisis center offers essential support for children, young people and their families in acute crisis situations.

The kidsnest plays an important role in that children during difficult living situations such as domestic violence or family conflicts offer refuge and help. Due to financial losses, however, the leisure activities for the children in the center were restricted. Thanks to the donation of the Kinderfreunde Pöchlarn, new leisure activities can now be provided that help the children be creative and active in a safe environment. Pascal Dorner, chairman of the Kinderfreunde Pöchlarn, expressed: "In a crisis situation in particular, distraction and activities are of great importance to help the children get strength again."
