Katharina Gfrerer takes over management of the City Center Amstetten
In a significant change in the management of theCity Center AmstettenKatharina Gfrerer, previous head of marketing and PR, will take over management of the center from November 2024. This new role takes place within the group of companiesIG Real Estate, to which the shopping center belongs. Gfrerer brings over two decades of experience in the industry and has made a name for herself as a retail expert.
Since joining IG Immobilien 20 years ago, she has been significantly involved in the development of several projects. Her career began in 2007 when she took over center management at the Stadium Center in Vienna. In 2015 she moved to the Rosenarcade in Tulln and gained valuable experience there, which she will now bring to the City Center Amstetten.
Commitment to the City Center
Katharina Gfrerer has managed the City Center's communications strategies since 2009 and has been actively involved in the repositioning of the shopping center in recent years, together with her predecessor Hannes Grubner. In a statement, she expressed her joy about the new challenge: "In recent years, together with Hannes Grubner, we have really achieved a lot in and for the City Center Amstetten. I am looking forward to this new task and, together with my competent and passionate team, I am striving to continue to make the CCA an indispensable place for meeting, exchanging ideas, shopping and enjoyment in Amstetten."
The ongoing repositioning process of the City Center is already bearing fruit, as the positive development in visitor numbers shows.
