Autumn days of the blind market: musical woman Holle brings weather chaos and fun

On October 20, the family musical "Ms. Holle" will premiere as part of the autumn days of the blind market. In this staging, director Christoph Sommersguter brings the popular fairy tale of the Brothers Grimm on stage, enriched with a creative mix of music, dance and a special weather spectacle.

The story is aimed at a younger audience from the age of five and the whole family. The focus is on the two sisters Marie and Maria, who will provide many entertaining and educational moments due to their fundamentally different personalities. While one sister is self -sacrificing and helpful, the other lives according to her own rules and makes her emotions influence the weather. An exciting adventure takes his course when her mother tries to couple her with the closed mayor "Holz-Horst", which leads to an unexpected leap in the village fountain.

a magical adventure

The sisters end up in the magical world of Ms. Holle by this jump, where things are not quite as they seem. Breads dance here, snowflakes swirl across the stage happily and a playful rooster becomes a faithful companion. In the event, the two sisters are not only confronted with the forces of nature, they also have to deal with their own beliefs. The central question in the plot is whether you can stand by and see while nature suffers and the weather turns against us.

"Ms. Holle" conveys the message that everything is connected. If the weather is going crazy, Ms. Holle could put it behind. The protagonists quickly realize that it is up to them to stand up for their values and the environment. Sometimes you have to become active yourself to change the weather and ensure better times.

The musical direction takes over Andreas Bencic, while Elisabeth Blutsch is responsible for choreography and Marcus Ganser for the stage design. Shlomit Butbul will play the role of Ms. Holle, supported by Diana Bärhold and Victoria Sedlacek as a gold and pechmarie. The entire staging will inspire both young and old and leave a deep impression.

The piece symbolically stands for the pursuit of change and responsibility and asks the viewers to actively deal with their environment. Every visit to the musical could not only be an entertaining experience, but also convey a valuable learning experience about the importance of cohesion and ecological awareness. This staging promises to captivate both emotionally and visually and will certainly be a highlight of the autumn days in the blind market.
