As part of the municipality's cultural autumn program, a book presentation of the former director of the elementary school, Johann Wögerer, will take place. This event not only attracts book fans, but also offers a musical supporting program.

On November 18, from 6:00 p.m., the music of the Winklaren twin sisters Lisa and Julia Berger, which will appear on the piano, on the clarinet and the flute, will be heard in the hall. Admission is free of charge, and the Winklarn table tennis association takes care of the hospitality, whose chairman is also the author of the book presented. This combination promises an entertaining evening when you can immerse yourself in the world of literature and music.

The new book by Johann Wögerer

Johann Wögerer published his third book with “God, nature and man with his thousand characteristics”. After his first work "on the way with Dina" (2021), the experienced educator deals with the creation of the world, the various characteristics of humans in this new book and would like to stimulate readers to meditate. With 166 terms from A (mountain belief) to Z (ynisch), the book offers a comprehensive view of the essential.

The author has linked his thoughts on how the earth was created, as well as the world religions and the development of human being. Particularly noteworthy are the sometimes bizarre photographs, which were mostly taken up in the natural environment of Winklarn and are often provided with mysterious titles. These images are directly related to the terms that Wögerer deals with.

Wögerer was supported in the design and text editing of his approximately 350-page book by his son Michael and his grandson Moritz Ettlinger.
