Marquez triumphs again: victory at the sprint in Aragon!

Aragon, Spanien - Marc Marquez won his seventh victory at the sprint in Aragon on June 7, 2025. After a failed start, in which he fell through wheelspin and was pushed into fourth place, the driver of the Ducati Lenovo team fought back. At first Alex Marquez from BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP took the lead, but Marquez did not get discouraged and worked in second place in the second round.

In the sixth round, Marquez managed to take the lead and to defend it until the end of the race. Despite the late takeover of first place, Alex Marquez did not fell completely and was able to collect important points for the overall ranking. Rookie Fermin Aldeguer, also from BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP, completed the race as third and was the only top driver who drove with medium rear tires. Aldeguer secured his place on the podium by overtaking Franco Morbidelli three laps before the end.

Pedro Acosta, the best KTM pilot, finished the race in fifth place, while Marco Bezzecchi took an impressive catch-up from 20th to eighth place. Johann Zarco, the best Honda driver, finished his race in 16th place after Joan Mir.
