Lackner remains BSA boss: Future projects planned for Spittal!
Adolf Lackner will also act as chairman of the BSA Spittal in the next three years. This decision was made during the general meeting on September 12, 2025, which took place in the Egger Buschenschank, where all officials were elected unanimously. Lackner, who has been active for the SPÖ Spittal for ten years, thanked for the trust of the members and expressed his joy about re -election. Future activities, events and education initiatives are on the agenda to promote political and social landscape in Upper Carinthia. The focus of the new board of directors will be on the promotion of democracy, cultural and social-relevant initiatives, as meindezirk.at.
The newly elected board is made up of various members who will jointly support Lackner. Andreas Gaggl and Philipp Schober take over the deputy chairman position, while Christoph Gasser, Lorène Stranner and Peter Hassler were named as additional board members. Barbara Pucher and Alexander Bernthaler are responsible for controlling the BSA.
Political support
The presence of state parliament member Marika Lagger-Pöllinger and BSA state chairman Roland Mathiesl, who conveyed their appreciative wishes to Lackner and his team, was particularly pleasing. This support underlines the importance of the BSA in the political landscape of Upper Carinthia and shows that the new board can rely on strong connections.
In a parallel development, the SPÖ city organization in Spittal also experienced a change of management. Christian Klammer was elected as the new chairman on November 15, 2024 and thus follows Andreas Unterrieder, who no longer ran in office after over eleven years. However, Unterrieder remains active in the city party, while the clip, in his inaugural speech, emphasized the challenges that were before the city organization. These developments within the SPÖ could have a positive impact on the activities of the BSA, such as 5min.at.
For the coming years, it is important to set the course for successful cooperation and master the challenges ahead together. Lackner and his new team are optimistic about their term in office and strive to further strengthen social democratic values in their region.
