Theater lovers in Wolfsberg can look forward to an amusing performance in the coming weeks. The Markusbühne presents the play “Angelino – Angels Fall Soft,” which premieres on Friday, November 8th at 8 p.m. With this tabloid comedy by Reiner Woop, the theater troupe led by chairman Maximilian Theiss brings an entertaining mix of humor and heart to the stage, which is guaranteed to make for an unforgettable evening.
But what awaits us in this piece? The focus is on the angel Angelino, whose heavenly mission brings him to earth. But through a small mishap he ends up in Paris with Michel Cordennier, a charming but shady character who is involved in dubious dealings. Angelino, who was supposed to help, instead causes quite a stir in Michel's life. And when the young Michelle Corday appears, the situation gets even worse. A fun evening is guaranteed!
A colorful ensemble
In our experience, the Markusbühne has specialized in comedies over the years in order to make the evening particularly entertaining for the audience. “In the dark season, it is important to provide a distraction with humorous stories,” explains Theiss, underlining the commitment of the actors who have been working on rehearsals since July. After an initial reading rehearsal in July, the more intensive rehearsals began in September, which have now increased to three times a week.
A highlight of this season is Kathrin Traussnig's debut on the Markusbühne stage. She will complement the ensemble and bring a breath of fresh air while the audience meets familiar faces.
The premiere will take place on November 8th in the Markussaal in Wolfsberg and is the first of a total of seven dates scheduled for viewers. Tickets can be purchased via Öticket and at various sales points, with adults paying 15 euros and children and young people only having to pay 7 euros. The exact game dates are:

On Sundays the performance starts at 5 p.m., while on other dates the performances start at 8 p.m. The Markussaal can be found at Markusplatz 3, 9400 Wolfsberg and will be the stage for this entertaining play, which is the focus of this season.
