In the town hall of Villach, a very special Christmas wish tree shines, which is a truly beautiful symbol for community and compassion in the contemplative time. From now on, the colorful straw stars can be picked from the tree, which reflect the heart's wishes of people who are in challenging life.

Christmas is not always equally exciting for everyone - often it is denied people with difficult living conditions to see their wishes fulfilled. This is where the Christmas wish tree in Villach comes in, a project that again focuses on the values of charity and support this year. "Our wishes offer a wonderful opportunity to make a difference with minimal effort. The Villacher: Inside, the inside of our city proves how much heart is in our city by fulfilling the client's heart's wishes: Inside the ARGE social," explains Mayor Günther Albel. At the traditional opening, which was designed this year by the children of the Kindergarten Völkendorf, Marie Madeleine Felsberger and Nina Winkler from the ARGE social were also present.

The Christmas tree in the foyer of the town hall presents itself with many colorful straw stars, on which simple, anonymous wishes are written down. These wishes range from small joys such as a fine body cream, chocolate or fragrance candles to books. "Even if they seem slightly, even if they appear to us, a big smile can cause the giving," emphasizes the social officer and mayor Gerda Sandriesser.

The citizens: Inside Villach, they are cordially invited to participate in this beautiful campaign. From now on you can pick one of the stars off the tree, fulfill the wish and relieve the gift by December 10, lovingly packaged to the ARGE social in Klagenfurter Strasse. It is important to always attach the gifts to the straw star so that the wishes can be properly assigned. "A big thank you to everyone who participates in this campaign - both the committed citizens: inside and the hardworking employee: inside of the magistrate who helps every Christmas season with joy and enthusiasm," add Albel and Sandrießer.

The straw stars of the wishes are accessible daily during the opening hours of the town hall, so that everyone who wants to bring joy in the life of others.
