In Villach, significant progress in the field of pedestrian and cycling infrastructure was made. Several new walking and cycle paths were recently inaugurated, which not only increase the safety of road users, but also to promote the attractiveness of environmentally friendly means of transportation.
A central project was the expansion of the sidewalk in Drauparkstrasse. Here the area between the ring wall and Steinwenderstrasse was enlarged, so that a new, safe walking and bike path was created.
