Magical Advent atmosphere at the Wernberger Advent 2024
On November 30, 2024, the community forecourt in Wernberg will become the venue for the “Wernberger Advent”. From 1:00 p.m., citizens are invited to take part in this festive event, with the main focus being the diverse Advent market. With over 30 exhibitors from the region, the market showcases a wide range of local products and handmade gifts that are sure to spread the Christmas spirit.
The market will be officially opened at 3:00 p.m. by Mayor Doris Liposchek, who will offer all visitors a free hot drink. A special highlight of the afternoon will be a raffle in which numerous non-cash prizes will be raffled off by the exhibitors. All proceeds from this event go to social projects in the Wernberg community.
Fun festivities
The evening of Advent promises to be particularly festive. At 5:00 p.m. the Christmas tree is blessed and the lights are turned on, immersing visitors in a contemplative atmosphere. A particularly touching moment will be when Santa Claus appears to hand out gift bags to the children, who will certainly be wide-eyed. The musical accompaniment to the program is provided by the duo “Kärntner Herzklang”, which creates the right atmosphere.
This event is not only a wonderful opportunity to collect gifts and celebrate community, but also an opportunity for people in the area to gather and enjoy the pre-Christmas season together.
