Tragic accidental death of a 61-year-old in Ferlach
Yesterday afternoon a tragic accident occurred in Ferlach, Carinthia. A 61-year-old motorcyclist left the road on the Rosental Bundesstrasse (B 85) and crashed into a house wall. Despite immediate resuscitation measures by an emergency doctor, the man died at the scene of the accident.
The exact circumstances that led to the accident are currently unknown. According to police, the driver lost control of his motorcycle, first collided with a traffic sign and then crashed into the wall of the house. The severity of the injuries was so great that even quick medical care could no longer help.
