Together for the children: KAC fan clubs give unforgettable evening
The "Gemma Kac" campaign once again proved how strongly community and cohesion can be. In an impressive cooperation with the KAC fan clubs "Stiege 19" and "Vikings", the association "Soldiers with Heart" invited a group of children from the SOS Children's Village Moosburg to an unforgettable home game against the Black Wings from Linz. Thanks to the generosity of these fan clubs, the children and their supervisors were able to experience the game free of charge, which led to an extraordinary evening in Klagenfurt.
The fact that this campaign not only aroused sporting enthusiasm, but also included warm support, was another highlight. During the first third break, the little guests were allowed to enjoy a hot dog and a drink from the "Frankie’s Restaurant Bar & Café". In addition, there were a lot of surprises from the KAC fanshop: scarves, stickers and the mascot Lindi provided bright faces and joy among the children.
convey values of sport
Imrana Jashari, the Vice President of "Soldiers with Heart", emphasized the great importance of this initiative: "Sport not only brings joy, but also conveys values such as community and cohesion." The possibility of showing the children that they are part of a larger family was an invaluable gift for everyone involved.
Richie Malle, managing director of "Armysstyle", a business for outdoor and military fans, was also enthusiastic: "It is great to see how the sport brings people together and creates memories that keep a lifetime. For these children it was a welcome distraction from their worries, and they were able to become part of the red-jacket family for a few hours."
a strong commitment to the youth
Finally, the club president John Patrick Platzer explained that such initiatives are only possible through joint action: "It is crucial to give children and adolescents moments of joy and carefree in difficult life situations. This impressively shows how much can be achieved through cooperation and solidarity!" The next "Gemma Kac watch" campaign is already planned for December. Many thanks to the KAC fan clubs "Stiege 19" and "Vikings", whose support makes such actions possible, as well as the KAC fanshop and "Frankie’s" for their valuable contributions.
