In the night of November 22, 2024, the Klagenfurt professional fire brigade was called to a balcony fire in St. Ruprecht. When the emergency services arrived, the balcony of a multi -party house was already burning on the first floor. The fire brigade reacted quickly and used a fire line of a tank fire to bring the fire under control from the garden.

The situation could be contained quickly, which meant that other apartments in the building remained undamaged. While the firefighters deleted the fire, the crew of another fire truck carried out a thorough control of the apartments above. Fortunately, these were also not affected, so that the residents were able to return to their apartments immediately after the evacuation. The resident of the affected apartment was temporarily refuge with neighbors.
