Alpine sounds up close: Festival for Folk Music enthusiastically in the Am Am Amthof
On Friday evening, visitors to the festival awaits Alpine Folk Music a musical highlight of a special kind. From 7:00 p.m., two talented groups will appear that will ensure a varied entertainment program. The first group, "If it fits Musi", opens the evening with its unique mix of traditional sounds and modern influences.
The six musicians from "Wenns fits Musi" bring a fresh air into traditional folk music. Your own compositions and arrangements combine Alpine music with jazz, brass music and international sounds. The audience is taken on a musical journey through Carinthia, even if the musicians now live and work scattered all over Austria.

With a hug from singing and melody, the group inspires the audience and promises catchy tune. The line -up consists of Markus Fellner (clarinet, bassethorn), Michaela Faschinger, Manuel Jannach (both clarinet), Marcel Mölschl (Styrian Harmonika), Vanessa Mölschl (guitar) and Manuel Edlinger (tuba). After a short break, it continues with "Tschejefem" that occur at 8:15 p.m.
"Tschejefem" wins the audience through a colorful mix of different music styles. The group presents a sound trip that is inspired by Alpine folk music and also includes hits from the 50s and 60s as well as jazz standards. Johanna Dumfart enchants with her soft voice, while Fabian Steindl plays the zither and Michael Dumfart changes between clarinet and bass clarinet.
The festival "Complete & crossed" takes place for the 12th time and has made a name for itself through its inviting ensembles, some of which also occur in the Carinthian summer. The medieval Bamberger Amthof offers an atmospheric backdrop that further strengthens the atmosphere of this small but fine festival.
