This was first reported by the Press . In addition to financial support, active help is also offered in the organization of the journey home and the procurement of the necessary documents. A spokesman for the BBU emphasized the importance of these measures and the increasing demand for information on the return.
support for those willing to return
The return program is primarily the goal of offering Syrians who want to return to their home country. Interior Minister Gerhard Karner (ÖVP) also announced that the organization of flights will also be checked for people willing to return. These auxiliary measures are offered in parallel to the permanent return consultations, whereby targeted actions are carried out in order to motivate Syrian refugees in particular, whose situation-according to reports-has now improved after the fall of the Assad regime, as in the nön was reported.
Many Syrians show interest in returning, but the current uncertainty about the security situation remains an obstacle. The BBU recorded increased inquiries, but the majority of those willing to return are still in an information phase in which they observe the developments in their homeland. The focus is also on the intention of removing people who have not integrated or have become criminal, the security situation should allow this.
