Felbermayr loses the points in Jeddah after pole position!

Jeddah, Saudi-Arabien - On April 19, 2025, Emma Felbermayr continued her challenges on the second weekend of the F1 Academy in Jeddah. The Austrian racing driver started from the pole position, but could not achieve the desired result. Despite the strong starting position, Felbermayr quickly fell behind her teammate Ella Lloyd, who drives for McLaren.

In the first round, Felbermayr first had to take the second position, but was given fourth place in the second round. A safety car phase, triggered by an incident of her teammate Chloe Cong, brought additional tension into the race. During this phase, Felbermayr kept her position in fifth place before the restart of the race did not help her again.

difficult restart

After the restart, Felbermayr fell behind and finally took ninth place. She also had to give up against Chloe Chambers from Campos, who took seventh place and against Nina Gademan by Prema/Alpine, who took eighth place. This was not the first time this season that Felbermayr went out of a race without points. As with the China Sprint, she could not collect any further points after she had only scored points in the main race.

The victory in the sprint race won Ella Lloyd, who dominated the race in an impressive manner. She was followed by Maya Weug from MP Motorsport, which drives for Ferrari, and Alisha Palmowski from Campos, who took third place. The course of the race illustrates the competitiveness and the challenges with which young talents are faced in the formula world.
