Explosion in Calenzano: at least four dead and numerous injuries!

On Monday there was a devastating explosion in a refinery of the Italian energy group Eni in Calenzano, near Florence. The tragedy demanded at least four lives, while two other employees are missing. After the incident, the population was asked within a radius of five kilometers to keep windows closed and keep away from the danger zone. The refinery, which is responsible for storing petrol, diesel and kerosene, extends over an area of 170,300 square meters. Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni expressed their condolences to the relatives of the deceased and thanked the rescue workers for their commitment.
