This year was officially declared “Year of the Isel” in 2025. Tyrolean Environmental Awalt Johannes Kostenzer would like to draw attention to the importance of the Isel River and trigger numerous activities related to river and nature. In this context, the Hohe Tauern National Park invites you to a free exclusive tour of the Isel, the Umbalkees, on Saturday, July 19th. The guided hike, which is led by experienced National Park rangers: inside, runs on the natural power path and along the picturesque ums. The first stop will be at the Clarahütte at 2,038 meters, where the hikers can take a well -deserved breakfast break. After this rest, the path continues over the Keespalfen and the Sandersee to the umbalkees, which is located at the foot of the majestic three -host tip. "The Isseltrailpyramid", a popular photo motif, finally marks the end point of the tour, which is also a symbol for the beautiful landscape, with which visitors can count.
