Price increase in Europa-Park: What Tripsdrill is planning for 2025
The admission prices for the Tripsdrill adventure park, which was the first amusement park in Germany to open in 1929, have been set for the 2025 season. Managing director Stefan Seipel announced that the prices for day tickets would be increased by 1.50 euros to 41 euros. There will be a moderate increase of 50 cents for children and seniors, meaning the new prices will be between 35.50 and 40.50 euros.
The price increases reflect standard industry practice, as theme parks typically adjust their ticket prices annually. However, the increase at Tripsdrill remains within limits and sets an example for fair pricing compared to other parks such as Europa-Park, which recently announced a significant price increase. Current tickets for Europa-Park now cost 69.50 euros instead of the 65 euros from 2023.
Details about the annual tickets
Positive news for loyal visitors to the park: the prices for annual tickets remain unchanged at 145 euros for adults and 115 euros for children and seniors. Seipel emphasizes that this is a very fair and attractive option. The decision not to increase parking fees is also in line with their fair pricing model, which aims to keep the visit affordable for the general public.
The Tripsdrill adventure park sold around 40,000 annual tickets in 2024, which shows that visitors appreciate the value for money offered. Free parking is another benefit that visitors can enjoy at Tripsdrill. This demonstrates the park's focus on a positive visitor experience.
The character of the park
Tripsdrill not only describes itself as the oldest amusement park in Germany, but also as a place that values a balanced price-performance ratio. Managing director Helmut Fischer emphasizes: “We are not looking for maximum profit” and points to the decisions that lead to the low admission prices and free parking spaces. Seipel and Fischer are determined to ensure the park's continued appeal while keeping costs under control.
In the coming year, the adventure park will strive for an appealing concept that remains welcoming for both families and individual visitors. With these new prices and attractive annual passes, Tripsdrill remains a popular destination for both locals and tourists.
