Carnival cabaret Güssing: An unforgettable evening in the Oberschützen
The carnival cabaret in Güssing is an annual highlight in the Burgenland cultural calendar that attracts many visitors. This popular event will take place again at the Oberschützen Cultural Center next year, which is of great importance for the local scene. It promises to be an entertaining evening where well-known artists will showcase their skills.
The cast of this year's cabaret includes, among others, Kurt Resetarits, the Kammersänger Josef Forstner, Arthur Fandl, Gerd Friedl and Franz Stangl. Susanne Dunst will also be on stage with her women's team, consisting of Anja Becha, Anita Janitschek and Monika Rauscher. They are known for their humorous approach to everyday topics and are sure to get a lot of laughs.
An unforgettable evening
A special highlight will be the musical accompaniment by the Ensemble Musical Güssing and the “Ruam Buam”, who will accompany the program with stylish music. Director Marianne Resetarits has already announced a colorful evening full of sketches and solo numbers, which will be complemented by culinary delicacies.
For those who love to plan in advance, there is also the opportunity to win tickets to the musical “Jesus Christ Superstar”, which will be performed at Güssing Castle in August 2025, through a competition. This is a great opportunity to experience one of the most famous musicals.
The premiere of the carnival cabaret will take place on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. Further performances are scheduled for Friday, January 31st, Saturday, February 1st at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, February 2nd, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. All events take place in the Oberschützen cultural center and promise a great experience for young and old.
