Rudersdorf: Patrick Kainz becomes the new mayor of voting

After the mayoral election on September 8 in Rudersdorf, decisive changes were made in the local council. Patrick Kainz from the ÖVP, who was defeated by the SPÖ in the election against David Venus, was elected as the first mayor. This choice has an impact on the political landscape in the community and marks a transition into the inner structure of local politics.

Kainz replaces Stefan Fuchs, who has served as the second vice mayor in the past seven years, but remains active on the municipal board. These changes are part of a more comprehensive change that goes hand in hand with the mayoral election.

New team on the municipal board

With this new election, the post of the second mayor is also filled. In the future, this will be provided by the SPÖ. Although the candidate, municipal board Thomas König, has already been determined, no election procedure could be completed at the last council meeting, since there was not enough SPÖ councilors present.

There are also changes to the local mayor: Thomas König will succeed Manuel Weber (ÖVP) in Rudersdorf, while Stefan Fuchs in Dobersdorf switches to Mayor David Venus. These personnel reductions are groundbreaking and represent a restart in local politics.

The ÖVP also does not remain unnoticed: Andreas Musser moves up to the municipal board, while Silke Bacher acts as a chairwoman of the examination board. Dieter Schober will now also represent his parliamentary group on the examination board. These changes emphasize the dynamics within the political bodies and the efforts to be effective.

important resolutions of the local council

In addition to the personnel changes, the local council also discussed urgent issues. Among other things, the renovation of Wiesengasse in Rudersdorf was decided, with both federal and state funds being used. In addition, the general renovation of a fire engine from the Rudersdorf-Berg fire brigade is on the agenda, as is the purchase of new play equipment for the Sattler Park.

Another important measure is the re -activation of the street lighting between 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m., but with a reduced light intensity to save energy.

With regard to the new procurement of Stegen via the Lahnbach, which was severely damaged by floods in June, there is no new information so far. Mayor David Venus said that the further steps are coordinated by the country and the responsible departments are active.

The developments in Rudersdorf are not only interesting for the citizens, but also show the changes in the political structure of the community, which could cause a stir in the coming months. With Kainz at the head of the Vice Mayors and the changes to the local chiefs, the political climate in Rudersdorf will change significantly.
