Saint Martin: Gans and brass music inspire in Jennersdorf
The past weekend was a highlight for the city of Jennersdorf: the city chapel Jennersdorf celebrated St. Martin with festive music and delicious goose dishes in the Gernot Arena. Many visitors flocked to this special event, which was under the motto "goose with brass music" and delighted with a happy atmosphere.
At the beginning of the festival, the Trachtenkapelle Arstetten from Lower Austria created an exuberant mood. Her musical performances were very well received by the audience and noticeably heated up the mood. Later the Stadtkapelle Jennersdorf took over and even encouraged the guests into a "goose torch" through the marquee, which was a special highlight and a nice change during the evening.
special blessing and choral singing
Another emotional moment awaited those present when the pastor of the city at Kanonikus Franz Brei donated the “martin blessings” to all concert goers. Together with Willibald Süss, he then sang the choral "Peace for all of us" and the "Burgenland Martinimarsch". These songs gave the festival a solemn note and ensured a contemplative moment that underlined the community and the meaning of the Martinsfest.
The combination of music, dance and culinary delights made this evening unforgettable for everyone present. It was a wonderful opportunity for the citizens of Jennersdorf to come together and celebrate the traditions in a happy atmosphere. The city chapel and the traditional costume chapel contributed significantly to the fact that this celebration became a real experience.
