In a spectacular traffic accident at a railway crossing between Draßburg and Zagersdorf in the Mattersburg district, several people were affected on March 13, 2025. A 68-year-old man who drove behind her recognized the danger too late and could not prevent a collision.

The violent impact was pushed into the woman's vehicle into the track area, where it collapsed with an approaching passenger train. Fortunately, all occupants could be recovered unharmed.
