Curious process day in Eisenstadt: Burglary with strollers!
A bizarre trial day took place in the Eisenstadt regional court when two accused were on trial-a "safe cracker" and a brazen "50 tuna socket thief". The 30-year-old Hungarian had moved in the underworld for years. According to meinzirk.at she was involved in several break-ins between 2012 and 2017, often accompanied by her brother. In a particularly brazen slump, she was able to cut a safe with a flex and make prey worth 2,500 euros. In the court, the mother of two openly admitted: "Yes, all allegations are correct. I guilty" and called her living conditions at the time as a motive - she lived in a wrong circle of friends and was surrounded by drugs. As a result, it received a ten -month prison sentence of which a three -year probation period followed.
Absolutely opposite was the situation of the second defendant, a 30-year-old Slovak, who is said to have stolen 50 cans and three headphones from a supermarket in Parndorf in Parndorf. According to the indictment, he vehemently denied the crime and said that he was never in the business, even though he fought a kilometer -long chase with an employee before the police led him in handcuffs. He was already a criminal record for several offenses and was in prison at the time of the trial for an entry ban in Austria. The verdict fell quickly: 18 months in prison. Surprisingly, he accepted the judgment without an objection and was brought back to his cell, as dasfinance.de
The motives of the accused
While the mother showed remorse about her deeds and motivated how her difficult living conditions cited, the Slovak was a tough contradiction. While she tried to make a new beginning, it remains unclear how the league of criminals will continue to develop and whether such incidents will increase in the future. The day at the court in Eisenstadt has once again shown that in the world of crime everyone has their own story - some on the way to improvement, others firmly anchored in self -denial and injustice.
