Insolvency shock: Svoboda metal technology in Burgenland bankruptcy!
The well -known Svoboda Metalltechnik GmbH from Markt Allhau is once again in front of the financial broke heap: After a failed attempt at renovation in 2024, a bankruptcy proceedings at the regional court for civil law in Graz opened on January 7, 2025. According to the Alpine Officer Association, the company has liabilities of around 10.49 million euros, while the assets are around 4.07 million euros. A total of 615 creditors are affected by this bankruptcy, and 55 people are currently employed in the company. A continuation plan is not intended, as the 5min.at reports.
In the run -up to the bankruptcy, Svoboda Metalltechnik GmbH, which produces various metal products such as fences and balconies, had already made an application for a renovation procedure with self -administration at the Eisenstadt regional court in 2024. The liabilities were 7.9 million euros and 240 creditors were affected. The causes of bankruptcy were attributed to the challenging market situation in metal construction as well as rising interest rates and energy costs.
