110 students as the way to school: one step to more movement in Neufeld

In a remarkable initiative, 110 pupils of the Neufeld elementary school at the Leitha were appointed school path detectives. The aim of the project is to not only bring the children closer to the importance of movement by actively solving puzzles on school, but also reducing the use of parent taxis in the community.

The challenge of mastering the way to school independently was accepted by the children with a lot of enthusiasm. Together with their friends, they were allowed to solve questions and master various tasks. This not only strengthened the sense of community, but also promoted awareness of a healthier and more sustainable transportation in everyday life.

The initiative in detail

It is particularly important to the school that not only the students, but also the parents are stimulated to think. According to the team of teachers, the project shows that the car is often not necessary to get to school safely. Instead, the students can become active and get to know each other better.

The official award ceremony took place in the presence of Mayor Michael Lampel, who congratulated the young detective and emphasized the importance of the project for the community. It is a promising step in the right direction to increase the movement among children and at the same time to give them a responsible role in the design of their way to school.

The entire project shows how education can be effectively transferred into practice via mobility and environmental protection. This not only promotes the self -employment of the children, but also a contribution to reducing traffic in the community.
