The mysterious Dubai chocolate: a confectioner from Bad Tatzmannsdorf reveals the recipe
The Dubai chocolate conquered the world of social media in the storm and is revered by TikK users and chocolate lovers. However, the exotic treat is not only expensive, but can also be easily produced at home. A local confectioner from Bad Tatzmannsdorf reveals the secret behind this trendy delicacy.
The peculiarity of this chocolate lies in its filling, consisting of delicate dough threads called Kadayif, which are also known as angel hair. These threads are supplemented with delicious pistachios, creamy pistachio cream, butter and tahini. These ingredients are easily available from Turkish retailers, emphasizes confectioner Christian Kaplan.
To prepare the Dubai chocolate at home, you need 50 g butter, 100 g Kadayif dough threads, 100 g pistachio cream, 50 g Tafini, and 200 g chocolate of your choice (tender or full milk). Cut the dough threads small and roast them golden brown in butter. Mix the pistachio cream with tahini and add the cooled dough threads. Melt the chocolate, fill silicone shapes with a layer of chocolate, let them cool slightly and then add a layer of pistachio cream on it. Repeat the process with another layer of chocolate and let the chocolate get stuck in the fridge for at least two hours.
Enjoy your homemade Dubai chocolate and experience the exotic taste of the Orient in your own kitchen. Further details and the complete preparation can be found on burgenland.orf .
