50 years of community partnership: Ceremonial anniversary celebration with anniversary wine in Breitenbrunn

In a moving ceremony, the 50th anniversary of the community partnership between Breitenbrunn am Neusiedler See and the Breitenbrunn market was celebrated in the Upper Palatinate. The celebrations were held in the presence of deputy governor Astrid Eisenkopf, who praised the cross-border cooperation. This partnership symbolizes how friendship and solidarity can grow across geographical and national borders.

The ceremony not only marked the anniversary of the partnership, but also the blessing of a jubilee wine specially created for this occasion. The two cuvée wines, white and red, were produced exclusively for friends from the Upper Palatinate by the Breitenbrunn Weinbauverein. At the celebration, visitors were able to tasted these noble drops and celebrate the connection of the two communities.

Mayor Helmut Hareter proudly emphasized the long -term relationship between the two Breitenbrunns, which has been officially existed since 1974. The aim of this partnership was to promote the cultural exchange and friendship between the residents. This close bond has been deepened over the years, and many significant friendships have developed and are still being maintained.
