Area 1-1-2 Festival 2025: Cancellation after unforeseen developments!

Sulingen, Deutschland - The Ebner Media Group canceled today on July 8, 2025, which canceled Area 1-1-2 Festival planned for the period from August 8 to 10, 2025. The decision was made after new framework conditions have occurred at short notice, which make a high -quality implementation of the festival impossible. Christina Hoss, the head of the blue light unit, explains that the claim remains to establish a high-quality, inspiring and sustainable format that promotes further training and community. The need for such a festival is underlined by the high response from the fire brigade community, which was tailored to the original concept.

The cancellation is due to unpredictable external developments that have changed the planning bases. Despite the cancellation, the idea of a festival that combines training, experience and community with each other remains. The concept of the Area 1-1-2 Festival will now be further developed in order to be implemented in the future under optimal conditions. All already registered exhibitors, partners and ticket buyers: Inside, your payments will be recovered completely, the reversal is carried out quickly and unbureaucratically.

The focus on the community

Christina Hoss thanks everyone involved for their trust and support and emphasizes that the further development of Area 1-1-2 and other projects aim to bring the community closer together. The expansion of digital platforms such as the fire brigade magazine and the rescue magazine will be a central aspect. New services and innovative formats are planned to accompany the fire brigade community all year round.

The originally planned festival should offer an adventure festival under the motto "All Wheels on Fire" that goes beyond conventional training. Among other things, off-road driving course, practical and theoretical training for machine operators and interactive exhibitions with realistic use scenarios were planned. An important focus was on the fact that the participants could actively try out technologies and devices. Networking opportunities to exchange and get to know other firefighters should also be part of the program. For family members, offers were also planned during the training.

Review of similar events

The fire brigade community has already had good experiences with similar events, such as the Reload Festival in Sulingen, which took place from August 18 to 2022. Here, local fire brigades from Sulingen were actively involved and provided a fire security guard. The event was positive and without major events, which speaks for the high professionalism of the fire brigade. BMW Kayser from Oldenburg generously supported the festival with the provision of two emergency vehicles.

Overall, it can be seen that despite the short-term cancellation of the Area 1-1-2 Festival, there is a strong interest and a need for such events within the fire brigade community. The planned further developments and the new focus on digital formats and networking could offer exciting new opportunities for the members of the fire brigade in the future.
