In the Linz Theater Phönix, the audience awaits a spectacular event: the premiere of the play "Tempo - a piece of rhythm" by Felix Hafner, known for his innovative productions, will take place on December 5th at 7:30 p.m. This extraordinary theater experience combines drama, music and a driving rhythm, underlined by two professional drummer. The ticket costs 30 euros and promises a gripping examination of the topics of speed and time pressure. The ensemble of five actresses, including Martin Brunnemann and Gina Christof, is accompanied by the drummer Matthäus Schnöll and Moritz Jakob Lindner. Director Felix Hafner addresses the rapid pace of modern life, which is characterized by digitization and social media. The action takes place in different scenarios, from queues to airport scenes, and is designed so that the story has to be told in exactly 88 minutes, driven by the constant tick-tack of a watch. Silke Dörner, the artistic director of the Phoenix, emphasizes that the boundaries between speech and music theater are blurring here. Also the musical element, led by Herbert Pirker, member of the Jazzzinstitut of the Bruckneruni, also plays a central role in the performance, such as Nachrichten emphasized.
